ABOUT US

JOE HULBIG

JOE HULBIG is Director and Co-Founder of INSPIRE. Joe's career and passion for hockey all started with his family and friends on the lake in Wrentham, MA.  No expectations, no plan - just play and have fun.  With youth sports becoming more and more competitive these days, Joe's mission is to provide kids the opportunity to discover and strengthen their own passion for hockey in a fun, positive environment.

Joe played his high school hockey at the St. Sebastian's School in Needham, MA. After a successful high school career and being part of some great St. Sebastian's teams, Joe was selected in the first round of the 1992 NHL draft by the Edmonton Oilers. He then went on to play four years of college hockey at Providence College where he captained the 1996 Hockey East Championship Team earning Most Valuable Player honors.  Joe's professional career allowed him to play for eight years with three different NHL teams, the Edmonton Oilers, the Boston Bruins and the New Jersey Devils.

From the frozen lake in Wrentham to the Stanley Cup playoffs, Joe now looks for opportunities to share his experience, knowledge and attitude to INSPIRE the next generation of young hockey players - including his three children Georgia, William and Gretta.
